Legion Youth Nationals 2024 Recap

A small club comes up with big results at the 2024 Youth Nationals in Calgary, Aug. 9 - 11.

Ten Riversdale athletes competed in this event, walking away with 8 top-10 performances.

Lily Holman (U16 women) and Naysa Woods (U18 women) ran for big PR's in the 800 - each finishing in 4th place.  Lily (2:15.54); Naysa ( 2:11.35)

Other top 10 performances:

U16 pentathlon women - Adrianna Schmidt 10th (competing with Team Sask)

U16 1500m Steeplechase women - Julia Milnthorp 9th

U18 1500m women - Naysa Woods 6th

                                - Katie Rogers  10th

U18  3000m women - Katie Rogers 9th

U18 1500m men - Yero Daba 10th
